Healthy Eats: Homemade Guacamole

So what do you bring to your backyard BBQs and lakeside lunches? We love this five-minute guacamole recipe from It's quick, healthy, refreshing, and let's not forget that it's made from avocado-- one of our favorite super-foods. 2 ripe avocados, diced
1/4 cup cilantro, finely chopped
1 1/2 – 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice (about 1/2 large lime)
1 jalapeño, deseeded and minced
Flaky sea salt
1-2 tablespoons fresh salsa (optional)
