Pairing simplified yoga poses with alphabetized animals and objects, ABC Yoga features colorful illustrations of children and animals practicing yoga along with playful rhymes to explain each movement. Crawl like a crocodile, stretch like a fox, and hop like a grasshopper, discovering basic yoga poses as you learn the alphabet. A fun family read, this interactive book is perfect for teaching toddlers their ABCs, as well as introducing them to familiar animals and basic, simplified yoga poses that promote health and well-being. Each letter of the alphabet is paired with an engaging illustration mimicking the various animals’ natural movements. Clever rhymes explain how toddlers (and their parents!) can copy the poses, each of which encourage movement, physical fitness, and mental health.

I love this book. Poses are shown with an animal doing a similar position naturally. Fun for kids to act like each animal. Few words, it keeps their interest with the pictures. They can do poses along with you.

This is such a great way to introduce your little one to yoga and the alphabet at the same time. My 19 month old loves animals and is starting to enjoy simple stretches with me. This book helps support his focus, and keeps him engaged in the stretching and poses for a bit longer.
