For S/M I was expecting a roomier fit. As a jogger I was expecting a denser fabric--either more spandex or more sweat. This feels like fine gauge linen. For a tall thin person they'd be perfect.

The fabric of these pants is very soft - though they are polyester, and I thought they would be jersey (this is no fault of the company tho, I didn't do my research). I like that the ankle can be pulled up to sit higher below the knee. The issue I have with these is the elastic waistband. It is fairly tight, and there is no way to loosen it. I would have returned them because the elastic at the waist makes them pretty uncomfortable, but since I tried to pull out/cut out the elastic (you can't as it is sewn into the hem) I couldn't.
