I have a Manduka XL mat that I wanted to be able to take to class on occasion. It was so thick and wide I wasn’t able to fit it into a regular Manduka holder . ( w a pocket etc ) I was afraid to use a strap like this that had velcro bc of the weight ! I knew it wouldn’t hold the heavier mat .
I started searching for straps that were secure - this one was imperfect! Bc it loops inside a metal clip on each side it’s secure and strong!
Don’t be afraid to use this on an xtra long or wide mat!
