I am obsessed with this yoga mat. I've been doing yoga at least three days a week for a year. I've used multiple other mats, and even an expensive grippy yoga towel over my mats, and no matter what I tried, I would slip while doing hot yoga. From the first down dog that I did on this mat, I knew I would never use another mat. And you can not beat the price!! I recommend that every hot yoga lover try this mat. It's been a lifesaver.

I have been searching for a grippy mat that was thin enough to provide stability for balance poses but thick and cushy enough to protect the knees. I am not super sweaty and yet my hands and feet tend to slip on most mats. I tried about 5 different mats (in diff price categories) until I finally found this one and I fell in love. I enjoyed this one so much, I bought a couple. It does smell of rubber when you first get it, but it goes away eventually. I hope this one will never be discontinued.

I didn’t slip during hot yoga or hot Pilates with this mat. Its heavy good quality material flops on the ground with no remaining rolled up edges. My gym has manduka mats to rent and I think this mat is comparable in material.
