I got these because I needed a new silhouette. I've been wearing the same style of leggings for years and once in a while, you have to change it up. These are excellent. The flare is just enough to be flare-y but they don't look absurd, and from a distance they kind of just look straight legged. They are surprisingly elegant. The silhouette is lovely--straight but huggy, and they have a way of smoothing over lumps and cellulite and making it disappear. The high waist is great because depending on what is needed at the moment I can opt for coverage higher up or a stylish fold.

They are super comfy, they don't bunch, ride up or slide down. They stay where I put them. There is a nice level of compression, which will not be surprising for high content of lycra.

Since they are huggy and I have generous legs, they tend to bunch a bit at the knees, but I don't mind this. It also gives me a built-in length adjustment. If I want them to be long and stylish, I can pull them down. If I want to tromp in the garden and not get dirt on them, I can easily cinch them up.

The color is a bit odd, almost identical to the photo. Yes, it's beige, sort of. It has a greenish cast like the photos. It some light they look off white, in some they look pale grayish green and in almost no light do they actually look beige. For my wardrobe, the color works. I wish they came in a solid or heathered light gray as well. If they did I'd get more pairs.
