This is the perfect layer for over a sports bra. I'd find it a bit too see-through to wear as day wear with a regular bra, but it is opaque enough that less conservative types probably wouldn't share my hesitancy. The fabric is lovely--very soft and drapes well. I am a 36D bra size (38 1/5 inches across breasts) and usually wear a size 14 on top; my waist measures 32 1/2, and my hips are 43 inches. I'm quite broad shouldered, and this top had plenty of room to move freely. I ordered a size large and the fit was perfect--no tugging through the tush and curves in to set off my waist. Sized as mine is, I wouldn't recommend it for yoga, as it is too loose for inverted poses. If you ordered smaller you would probably get a more figure fitting top, but the way it is cut in back I'm still not sure it would stay put. I love mine the way it is for Zumba, cardio machines, and weight machines.
