And while we all love a great selection, it can be hard to narrow down which brand or type of legging is best for you with so many to choose from.

This women's yoga pants review highlights the top-selling leggings from the most popular yoga and activewear brands. You can compare and contrast styles, fit, fabrics, and other key details to help you sift through the sea of choices and find exactly what you're looking for.

For the traditional yogi who loves a classic, timeless and functional design, the Marika Yoga Capris are exactly what you want. With thicker fabric that's pill-resistant, these leggings are made to last.

By far the most distinctive feature of these leggings is the customized seaming to give your booty a lift and boost your finer assets. This subtle design is form-flattering. These capris go below the knee and also have a special gusset lining for moisture control.

These leggings are versatile and work great for any form of yoga and also dance, pilates, and barre. 

 

 

Beyond Yoga Women's Deco Mirror Paneled Yoga Leggings ($29.99)
Fabrics: Deco Texture - 90% Polyester, 10% Spandex, Supplex® - 90% Supplex, 10% Lycra

These leggings have an eye-grabbing design of mesh panels that wrap around the thigh and calf for a sporty, trendy look that's also functional in design. The midrise 5” waistband is comfortable and supportive, and the leggings fit true to size.

 

The unique textured fabric gives you full coverage and feels substantial but still breathable. Stylish and comfortable, the Deco Mirror Paneled leggings are blue, gray, and charcoal, so they are versatile and easy to pair with any top.

The moto look is so trendy and you will look fierce in these City Slicker Leggings by Free People's Movement line. The quilted knee insets give these leggings an edgy look and comfortable feel (great for poses that put weight on the knee joint!).

Free People's Be Free Blend premium Italian fabric is buttery soft, breathable, and even offers UV protection. The tall high-rise elastic waistband provides full coverage and support. These leggings run slightly large, so reference the size chart and consider sizing down.

These leggings are functional enough for an upbeat yoga practice, great for a more gentle restorative practice, and can also transition with you off the mat (they pair wonderfully with boots, heels, and flowy tops). 

 

Manduka Flux Yoga Capris ($48.99 - $57.99)
Fabrics: 65% Recycled Polyester, 22% Polyester, 13% Spandex

Dance-inspired activewear styles are all the rage, and Manduka nailed it with ballerina style wrap ties around the mid-calf. This look is adorable and different from styles you typically see on the mat, but doesn't interfere with your practice.

The Flux Yoga Capris are offered in three colors (featured in black) and have a contoured waistline with a handy built-in pocket for your valuables.

You can rock these capris in all forms of yoga and also dance, pilates or barre. 

 

Hard Tail Skinny Ankle Leggings With Pockets ($54.99)

While all the leggings in this review are high-quality with unique features, the Skinny Ankle Leggings by Hard Tail are one of my top favorites. From their thick yet breathable fabric, to their snug true-to-size fit, cute ankle details and signature Hard Tail thick seam, these leggings are love at first sight.

The most notable and exciting feature is the double pocket - one on each thigh. Great for cell phones, valuables, or simply as a functional fashion statement, these leggings just became even more versatile.

Great for all forms of yoga, these leggings are also ideal for outdoor activities (think hiking, bike riding, etc) since you can store your keys, money and cell phone in the convenient pockets. 

 

 

Teeki Blue Border Town Women's Hot Yoga Pants ($72)
Fabrics: 79% Recycled P.E.T., 21% Spandex

One of the most popular yoga legging brands on the market, Teeki has earned their reputation by producing high-quality, great-fitting yoga leggings with striking designs. The Blue Border Town Hot Yoga Pants are eco-friendly and made from recycled water bottles.

 

They fit true to size and have a mid-rise elastic-free waistband and are about as seamless as you can get in a yoga legging. Many yogis prefer these features as they provide more freedom in movement, but due to this you might consider sizing down if you prefer a super snug fit.

The breathable and quick drying material makes these leggings ideal for hot yoga and other forms of upbeat, fast-paced yoga. They're also stylish enough to wear off the mat with boots and a chunky sweater or tank.
