First, the design and colors are beautiful and it's very attractive. I really like the geometric designs for helping maintain form during poses. However, this mat is not sticky at all. I find my hands sliding around A LOT when in downward dog. Second, the pattern is only on one side of this mat! The other side is just white... For an $80 mat, I expect better stickiness/traction and the design on both sides. I've never seen a yoga mat with a design only be on one side. Super disappointed about that; it feels like the Vagabond company cut corners to save money on printing.... I may return and just get another Hugger Mugger mat for half the price and better traction :(
