I should have done more research but I really didn't like the seams that allow the mat to fold, when I was doing yoga on it. The plastic was also kind of slippery.

I was recently practicing yoga in Africa when a herd of elephants came by. I left my mat to move out of their way. One curious elephant touched it gently with its trunk before lifting it the air, swinging it about and then stomping on it. He was obviously not a fan of yoga. The mat survived and I went on to use it for the rest of my journey.
