- Care: Printed yoga mats release a very strong but harmless odor when first unwrapped. Please unroll and air out your mat for 2-3 days before use. Spot clean with our Yoga Mat Wash or damp cloth with cold water and mild detergent. Dry flat. The mat may fade and become brittle and unusable if exposed to the sun for extended periods of time. Store in a mat bag when not in use.

I have used the SOL for many years and it only just started to show normal wear and tear. Could not locate a SOL to purchase, but found the Gaiam 5mm Dry Grip yoga Mat which seemed to have the same qualities. Used it today for my yoga class and and found it to be all that I was looking for plus more. There was very little rubber odor since it’s new, the comfort was a bit better than my old one and I believe it is thicker but not so much that you sink into it, the bottom grip is different but was very secure on a hard surface and of course no stretching of the mat when holding position. It’s a winner with a warantee as well.
