This mat has been great for my extra sweaty hands. I used to frequently need to top my mat with a towel just to keep my hands from ever so slowly sliding away from me. Not with this mat though. Its wonderfully grippy and semi-absorbent top is amazing and the extra couple centimeters in length keep my head and feet on at the same time during shavasana. There is a bit of a natural rubber smell at first, but nothing offensive, and it quickly dissipates. Although a little heavy it's proven to be a very durable quality mat.

I’m in love with this mat! It’s log, has great padding without being too thick, and has great grip right off the bat! When the package first arrived there was a slight smell as others had mentioned, but I just unraveled it and let it air out in my garage for a couple of hours and the smell lessened and now I don’t notice it at all! It looks great: matt black. It feels like a lululemon matt but for such a better price! Well worth the money spent! I swear quite a bit and this may has withstood the test! It can get marked up if your nails accidentally scratch it but it’s minor cosmetic damage and doesn’t affect the overall mat.
