DIY: Crystal Ornaments

One of the things we love about the holidays is deckin' our halls. This year we decided to take a more unique approach to our decorations by making our own mindful pieces with a yoga flare. We made a couple of handmade, do-it-yourself healing crystal ornaments to hang on the tree and around the house. The crystals we used are from a love set channeling peace, generosity, happiness, appreciation, kindness and love-- which in our opinion, are the reasons for the season.

Grab your favorite seasonal tea, a cozy blanket and join us for the easiest DIY you'll do all year.

What You'll Need

  • Healing crystals of your choice (we use a SoulMakes collection)
  • Leather cord
  • A hot glue gun
  • Scissors

Directions

  • Grab a piece of cord and tie a small loop at one of the ends. Line the bottom of the knot up with the top of a crystal, and attach it with a dollop of hot glue.
  • Once the glue securing the loop to the crystal has dried, wrap the excess cord around the crystal a few times. Glue the end of the cord to the crystal, locking it in place, and snip off any extra cord with the scissors. Set aside to dry, and repeat these steps for all of the crystals.

Note: depending on the shape of the crystal, some may require more glue and less cord.

That is literally all there is to it. Hang your ornaments somewhere pretty and enjoy all of the good vibes that are sure to follow.

Happy holidays, friends!
