It is thin compared to other mats. The mat's smoothness still has amazing grip. If slippery, it means you need to clean it as per instructions. I wish it could be a little thinner...but it is still thin and I love it.

Make sure to wipe it as instructed upon arrival. The quality is really great and the thinness is true to claim. If you accidentally scratch it with your finger nails it recovers as if nothing happened. It has good grip but I haven't sweated that much to state otherwise. However quality of the mat is really satisfactory.
