Tapas Yoga Mat Sling

I've been using this strap for a few months and although it is well made from quality materials, I'm just not in love with it. I like the adjustability and security of the clips, and I like the center strap that can be used as a simple carry handle, but I feel they end up making the overall product more complicated than what I would prefer. I have to spend time laying out and organizing each strap section to ensure I know what part belongs where so It can be assembled correctly without tangling and twisting. It also seems to me the designed lengths of each of the strap sections are a little out of proportion. There is too much on the two mat straps so even if I roll my mat very loose there is a lot of excess strap dangling down. The center strap separating the mat straps seems a little short making the shoulder strap feel short. This makes it a little difficult to carry my mat vertically over my shoulder as it always wants to slide horizontal. This is particularly inconvenient when I ride my bike to class with the mat slung over my shoulders on my back. Although I have considered disassembling and redesigning it to better fit my needs (and to see if my thoughts actually make it more functional for me), at this point I may just purchase a simple 1-piece strap just to see if that is all I need.
